AMEC Cypho 101 Description
The more advanced models, CYPHO 101 and CYPHO 101G, are designed for mariners who need to connect their AIS receiver to both RS422 chart plotters as well as RS232 and USB devices such as navigation computers. The USB port can also provide power to the unit if needed. The CYPHO 101G includes an integrated GPS receiver and marine GPS antenna, and supports outputting both GPS and AIS NMEA sentences to other devices.
The CYPHO products are IPX5 waterproof certified to provide extra protection against challenging marine environments. The whole CYPHO-101 series has gained CE and FCC certification, and passed IEC 60945 tests.
