How to Install:
  1. Open the CETrial icon to start the setup program.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. After the setup program is finished, you may delete the CETrial file if it was saved to your computer.
  4. Download free ENC Charts from NOAA and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Limitations of the Coastal Explorer Free Trial:
  • The trial can only be used for 10 days.
  • The NMEA 0183 (GPS, Autopilot, etc.) interface will work for only 15 minutes after starting the program.
  • No charts are included in the download, but you can download charts separately.
  • Most states are not included in the gazetteer, but can be downloaded separately.
  • Support for Maptech's non-BSB chart formats is not included.
  • The background world map has less detail than the normal version.
